Renovation

Restoration or rehabilitation works aim to repair and renew old or damaged buildings, making them usable again .

Assessment and Inspection

  • The report included all the necessary restoration work and recommendations for rehabilitating the building, in addition to specifying the required materials and techniques.

Develop a restoration plan

  • Prioritization: Arrange tasks according to importance, such as repairing the foundations or columns first, then moving on to external finishes.

  • Design Solutions: Design the necessary engineering and architectural solutions to address the damage and update the building.

  • Budget and Cost: Provide an initial estimate of the required costs and prepare a timeline for completing the work.

Structural Restoration

  • Repairing Columns and Walls: Strengthening columns and walls using reinforcement materials such as carbon fiber or reinforced steel, and correcting any deformations.

  • Crack Restoration: Addressing cracks in walls and ceilings using special materials to refill gaps and ensure they do not expand in the future.

  • Thermal and Waterproofing Systems: Installing thermal insulation materials in walls and ceilings to reduce energy consumption, as well as waterproofing to prevent water leakage

Restoration of Ceilings and Floors

  • Repairing or Replacing Ceilings: If the ceilings are worn out or have suffered from water leakage, they are either repaired or replaced with new materials that ensure waterproofing and thermal insulation.

  • Repairing Floors: If the floors are damaged, they are removed and reinstalled using new materials, while considering improvements to thermal and acoustic insulation if necessary

Repairing Mechanical and Electrical Systems
  • Repairing Electrical Systems: This includes re-wiring damaged or worn electrical cables and installing new electrical distribution panels if necessary.

  • Repairing Plumbing: Repairing or replacing worn pipes, updating sewage and water networks, and ensuring the safety of sanitary systems.

  • Renewing Heating and Air Conditioning Systems: Installing or updating heating and air conditioning systems to meet modern standards

Restoration of Interior and Exterior Finishes

  • Interior and Exterior Painting: Repainting walls and ceilings using moisture-resistant and environmentally friendly paints.

  • Floor Installation: Installing new flooring such as tiles, marble, or parquet according to the chosen design.

  • Facade Restoration: Repairing or replacing external facades, whether made of stone or concrete, to ensure an attractive appearance and protection from natural elements

Adding Modifications or Improvements (if Necessary).

  • Space Redistribution: Modifying certain rooms or areas to meet modern requirements, such as increasing open spaces.

  • Adding New Facilities: This phase may include adding facilities such as elevators or new staircases if necessary

Final Inspection and Handover

  • Inspection by Specialized Engineers: Verifying the quality of the restoration and the safety of all systems.

  • Project Handover: Delivering the completed building for use, along with a report detailing all modifications and repairs that have been carried out.
