Finishing

Finishing works are the stage that follows the main construction works (concrete structure or skeleton), and aim to transform the concrete structure into a space ready for habitation or use.

 

Insulation works

  • Roof insulation: Applying insulation materials to concrete surfaces to prevent water leakage.

  • Bathroom and kitchen insulation: Insulate areas containing water extensions to prevent leakage.

  • Foundation insulation: In the event of a basement or ground floor, the foundations must be insulated from moisture.

  • Construction and mechanical extension works

 

Construction and mechanical extension works

  • Plumbing works: extending water and sewage pipes in walls and floors, installing the infrastructure for sinks, bathrooms, and kitchens in addition to water tanks.

  • Electrical extensions: installing electrical pipes inside the walls and connecting electrical wires, in addition to distributing electrical switches and sockets according to the design of the spaces.

  • Air conditioning works: Installation of air conditioning and heating systems including air ducts and concealed air conditioning units.

 

Plastering works

  • Interior wall plastering: preparing surfaces to receive the final finishes.

  • Exterior wall plastering: preparing exterior surfaces for the application of insulation or paint.

 

Bishop's work

  • Gypsum ceilings: Installation of gypsum board panels for ceilings with the possibility of adding decorative designs such as arches or cavities, and also inserting hidden lighting units (spotlights).

  • Suspended ceilings: In some cases, suspended ceilings are installed to cover air conditioning extensions or add distinctive designs.

 

Flooring works

  • Ceramic or porcelain tiles: used in bathrooms, kitchens, and public spaces.

  • Wood (parquet): used in bedrooms or sitting areas to increase the feeling of warmth.

  • Marble or natural stone: used in luxury spaces such as entrances and hallways.

 

Wall works

  • Paints: Applying layers of paint after preparing surfaces (priming and putty) to obtain smooth and consistent walls.

  • Wallpaper: In some areas, wallpaper can be installed to add a distinctive aesthetic touch.

  • Ceramic: Install tiles on walls in bathrooms and kitchens for easy cleaning and moisture resistance.

 

Windows and doors installation

  • Windows: Installation of glass windows with frames (aluminum or wood frames) based on exterior and interior design.

  • Doors: Installation of interior and exterior doors according to the design and selected materials (wood, metal, glass).

 

Lighting works

  • Recessed lighting (spotlight): It is installed in gypsum ceilings to provide soft and elegant lighting.

  • Chandeliers and Wall Lights: Install focal lighting and large chandeliers in key spaces such as living rooms and entryways.

 

Installation of sanitary and electrical equipment

  • Sanitary fittings: Installation of sinks, toilets, and showers in bathrooms, in addition to kitchen equipment.

  • Electrical appliances: Installing lighting switches and electrical outlets after checking the wiring connections, as well as installing appliances such as water heaters or air conditioning systems.

 

Final works and inspection

  • Site cleaning: Clearing areas of work debris and ensuring that areas are ready for use.

  • Quality Check: Conduct a final inspection of all finishing works to ensure there are no errors or defects.

  • Make adjustments: Correct any defects or observations that appear after the inspection.
