Water and thermal insulators

The company's insulation department performs all types of insulation using the latest technologies and modern materials in accordance with the standard specifications for the following works:

  • Water and thermal insulation of surfaces.

  • Waterproofing bathrooms and kitchens in residential homes, hotels and all establishments.

  • Waterproofing for swimming pools.

Examples of materials used in water and thermal insulation include:

Water and thermal insulation (polyurethane foam)

What is polyurethane foam?
It is a mixture resulting from mixing polyol and isothiocyanate together, and it is one of the best products used in thermal insulation due to the quality of insulation, as the total thermal conductivity is the lowest compared to other insulating materials, as it reaches (0.02 watts/meter Kelvin at a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius). Thus, it works to reduce the transfer of heat from the external environment to the internal atmosphere and vice versa, which maintains the building’s coolness and reduces the energy needed for cooling and heating.

What are the benefits of polyurethane foam?

  • They act as heat insulation and waterproof materials

  • It reduces noise significantly because it fills the pores and cracks in the concrete

  • Reducing electrical energy consumption by up to 40%

  • The building maintains the appropriate temperature for a long period without the need to operate air conditioning devices for long periods of time, which preserves the cooling and air conditioning devices and reduces their malfunctions and maintenance costs.

  • Control thickness and density to suit the building’s needs and uses after completing the insulation process

  • It helps maintain comfort and temperature throughout the interior of the building

  • It is not affected by insects and fungi and does not produce an unpleasant odor because it does not contain organic compounds

  • Help improve indoor air quality

  • Reducing the load on the surface due to its light weight

  • Polyurethane material can be easily maintained, repaired and recreated

  • Helps conserve energy and reduce carbon dioxide emissions

  • Polyurethane foam can be applied to all surfaces such as concrete, wood, metal, paper, cloth, etc

Poly urea insulation

An innovative and unique product used as a layer of protection, waterproofing, lining, and filling joints, as it preserves the surface, works to strengthen it, and prevents the access of everything present in the surrounding environment, whether liquids or the effects of weather factors. That is, the surface that has been protected with polyurea is a completely insulated surface and well protected from all External effects are an advanced technology that can be used for a wide range of different applications. Various polyurea products can be used as a protective layer on most surfaces of all types.

Advantages :

  • Suitable and compatible with drinking water (non-toxic)

  • It dries without odor stimulants, contains no solvents, and is free of odorless organic compounds

  • Smooth without joints and maintains flexibility

  • Highly resistant to most chemicals, solvents, acids and UV resistant

  • Excellent protection from corrosion, low permeability, resistant to salt water, and withstands various weather conditions. High resistance to shocks, scratch resistance and caustic substances, and is characterized by high flexibility. Structural strength, high elongation at break and excellent tensile strength

  • It has a very good adhesion coefficient to concrete, steel, aluminium, plastic, fiberglass, wood, foam materials and many other materials.

  • Typical uses

  • Fuel tanks and containers

  • For large aquariums

Bitumen roll insulation (rolls)

It is a type of waterproofing system for buildings. It is used on flat or nearly flat roofs to prevent leakage and transfer of water from roofs. Coils are often made from synthetic rubber, thermoplastics, or modified bitumen, and these fabrics are often used in commercial applications, although they have become increasingly more common in residential applications recently.

Epoxy insulation

What is epoxy:
Epoxy or epoxy resin (in English: Resin Epoxy) is a chemical material that is considered one of the types of the rmosetting plastics. It has two components: a base (resin) and a hardener (hardener). It is highly adhesive and resistant to friction and chemicals, whether acids, bases or solvents. An insulating layer is formed when it dries. Used as paint, mortar or adhesive. The most commonly produced type of epoxy resin is the reaction between the chemicals epichlorohydrin and bisphenol .

Uses:

  • It is used to paint the floors of parking lots, the floors of malls and showrooms, the floors of workshops and car showrooms. It is used to paint the floors of swimming pools.

  • It is used as an insulating coating for water leaks in tanks and sewage drains. It is also used for waterproofing the roofs of houses and government and private buildings.

PVC insulation

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is a synthetic material derived from natural resources (oil and salt), like many materials used in our contemporary world. Welding of PVC strips with air is considered to be at a very strong temperature, as the heat-welded layers form a permanent bond. The water resistance is stronger than the fabric itself. It is modified with plasticizers and UV stabilizers, and reinforced with fiberglass non-woven mats or polyester woven scrims, so the thicker fabric contains a greater amount of plasticize to maintain flexibility, which helps with its longevity. PVC is inherently fire-resistant due to its special chemical composition.

Uses:

  • Roof insulation.

  • Basement insulation.

  • Insulating ground tanks.

  • Insulating the interior of concrete water tanks above the soil.

  • Swimming pool insulation.

  • Isolation of artificial lakes.

EPDM insulation

  • This rubber, called (EPDM), is produced from the copolymerization of ethylene and propylene using Ziegler and Natta-type catalysts at a temperature of 40°C in the presence of small quantities of dienes, the quality of which depends on the type of rubber desired. These dienes include isoprene and butadiene.

  • It is the most common synthetic rubber for thin single-layer insulation because it is readily available and simple to apply. EPDM coils have advanced significantly in roof insulation in recent years.

  • Covering cracks is made simple with the addition of factory-applied tape, resulting in faster installation. Adding these tapes reduces work by up to 75%. It is a low cost fabric. When applied correctly in the appropriate places, its guaranteed life reaches up to 30 years, and its expected life span reaches up to 50 years>

  • Uses:

  • Roofs

  • Artificial lakes

  • External insulation tanks

  • Basements

Cementitious insulation

Cementitious (chemical) insulation is used to isolate water using heavy cement-based compounds and various additives that are mixed and packaged for dry use. The packaged mixture is then mixed together from water and special liquid materials and has a tangible, practical consistency. Cementitious products are probably the easiest materials to apply for waterproofing, as they do not require any sophisticated equipment for application. Cement-based waterproofing products are widely used around the world for waterproofing projects

Uses:

  • Ground water tanks

  • Concrete overhead water tanks

  • Swimming pools

  • Basement floors

  • Internal insulation for basements
